Portland, Oregon ... musings on consumer behavior

August 12, 2010 It is interesting to travel to another place and see how much variety there is within the United States. Living in Houston, you would think that the majority of American women were walking around in fabulous heels. Portland is the land of sensible shoes for women. So much talk in marketing circles about the need for targeting, travel when done with an open eye to the differences is good for your marketing brain.
